Do both alcoves need to match?

No. We can create a balanced symmetrical design or plan each side differently depending on the room and what you need to store.
Can you build bookcases across a complete wall?

Yes. Full-wall bookcases can combine open shelving, cupboards, drawers and other features to create a substantial made-to-measure storage wall.
Can lighting be added to the shelving?

Yes. Optional LED lighting can be planned into open shelves or display areas when discussed before the build.
Will my alcove units or bookcase arrive painted?

Our cabinetry is supplied carefully prepared and ready for decorating. Painting is arranged separately, and we can recommend Sam’s Property Solutions if required.
How much do bespoke alcove units cost?

Every project is individually quoted because the dimensions, depth, storage layout and chosen features affect the price. Following your video consultation, Robyn will send a clear, detailed quotation. However, to give you an idea. 2 full height basic alcove units start at £1690 including VAT.
Can you work around sockets, skirting and existing features?

Yes. Josh will consider the room’s existing details when planning the cabinetry. If electrical points need moving or adding, this may need to be arranged separately with a qualified electrician.

MATERIALS
Our alcove units and bookcases are built using MDF, with the construction and shelf thickness planned around the design.
MADE TO FIT
Each piece is made to measure and neatly scribed to surrounding walls, ceilings, skirting and chimney breasts where required.
DECORATING
Your cabinetry will be supplied ready for decorating. Painting is arranged separately, with Sam’s Property Solutions available as our recommended decorator.
LIGHTING & CABLES
Optional LED lighting and cable grommets can be incorporated into the design when discussed and planned in advance.
